FESTIVE SIDE DISHES FOR ANY OCCASION

A GLOBAL PHENOMENON
No, Thanksgiving is still uniquely American, but the idea of "pot lucks" is increasingly common in countries around the world. Because it makes group dinners easy, of course. But in Europe (the birthplace of EuroCAST) where kitchens can be small, the "pot luck" dinner is a casual way to make the most out of everyone's limited time and space.
In France, when everyone shows up with a bottle and a plate or bowl of finger food (or a bit more), it's called an apéro (think time for appetizers).
And when you get back to your flat, you're just giddy and content to stay in.
Being giddy and content: that's the point of celebrating with friends. That's why we love pot luck.
In anticipation of the holiday, we've collected a lot of ideas perfect for your pot luck plans and put them up on our Instagram account. Just click on the image and go.
Have fun!
